PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The selection of foundation method and dimensions depends on embedding / founding conditions and the responsibility
for this selection lies with the designer.
In practice, three types of post founding / embedding are applied:
– use of prefabricated foundations for a given post;
– calculation and pouring on-site foundations with a suitable frame;
– by digging a parts of a given post into the ground to a sufficient depth.
The European Standard EN 40 suggests the following average size of a post to be dug into the ground.
The size of foundation depends on the height of a post, the size of a boom – crown and the number of installed
fixtures. Also ground conditions are relevant. The depth of post founding / embedding is given in the PN EN 40-2
Standard.
