The project leader is the Gdańsk University of Technology, and its work is managed by the Vice President of ElmarCo, Justyna Martyniuk-Pęczek. Scientific, local government and business partners from Poland and Europe are involved in the project, and the activities will include, among others: testing solutions in urban "living labs" and analyzing the impact of infrastructure, environment and spatial planning on the quality of life of residents.

The value of the LIGHT project is over PLN 5 million, which shows the scale and importance of this initiative for the development of modern, sustainable cities.
