LED light colors – which is the best?

You often wonder how to choose the color of light to illuminate a specific room in your house or apartment? The selection of the right color depends mainly on the purpose of the room, and thus this choice is of great importance for our well-being. We will use a different color in the room for relaxation, and a different one in the place where we want to work, so let’s start with what colors we distinguish in LED bulbs, which are most often used today, and what is color temperature in general and what is a Kelvin?

The color temperature is nothing more than an objective measure of the color impression of a given light source, and more simply – it is the color of the light emitted by a particular bulb. However, the Kelvin (K) is a unit of temperature in the so-called the SI system, which is the system of units of measurement that defines this color. The lower the Kelvin index is, the warmer the color is (yellow), the higher the color is, the colder it is (white or even blue). To understand this better, let’s focus on the three most commonly used types of colors, i.e. warm (2200 – 3200K), neutral (3300 – 4500K) and cold (4600 – 5000K).

The color of warm is closest to yellow light. It will work best in rooms intended for relaxation and rest. Sources of this color emit very pleasant light, which creates a cozy atmosphere, which is why they are suitable for lighting both the living room and the bedroom. Warm lighting helps to calm down and calm down, therefore it is most often used in houses and apartments.

Neutral color is the perfect compromise between warm and cold light. It is the most universal, fits any room and style, and most importantly, it does not tire your eyes. Most often chosen for lighting the kitchen or bathroom, due to the fact that it reflects the real color of the illuminated objects. It will also successfully illuminate a corridor, home office or office. It is also a great choice for those who do not know which light color to choose.

The cold color is generally not used in houses and apartments, sometimes it is only a decorative contrast to the main lighting. This color, due to the bright light it emits and the fact that it stimulates our body to work intensively, is used in warehouses, production halls, workshops and garages. So wherever our activity is the most. The color of the light to a large extent determines the appearance of the illuminated objects and the entire room, but the most important thing is that we feel good in such light, that we do not get tired, that the use of our apartment or house is pleasant and is conducive to both rest and fun and work.

In fact, in all indoor lamps that we produce and in which LED sources are integrated, we use two colors: 3000K or 4000K. These are the most popular colors for home use. In other luminaires, we enable the use of any sources, most often with an E27 or E14 socket. These springs are also available in warm and cold colors.
